We are excited to announce the launch of the Atlanta Web3 Alliance. This group is comprised of six Atlanta leaders in web3 who came together with a goal to make Atlanta a Top 10 web3 city in the next five years. #10in5

Web3, blockchain, and cryptocurrency technology are the future of the internet. The principles of ownership and immutability will allow these areas to grow significantly over the coming years. Atlanta is well-positioned to be a leader in this critical new technology. Our city’s large corporations, universities, and diverse workforce give us the opportunity to be a top city in this new paradigm. The Atlanta Web3 Alliance was formed to make sure we take our place at the top of the web3 world.

This ambitious goal will be accomplished by focusing on our four pillars:

Ecosystem Activity: we aim to have a thriving ecosystem of startups, scaled companies, large corporate participants, investors, developers, and universities operating in web3.
Mindshare: we expect Atlanta to be spoken about as a top global city in web3 by thought leaders in Atlanta and across the world.
Events: we will make Atlanta the home for global Crypto events and also local gatherings.
Policy: we will engage local and state government officials to support web3 legislative initiatives.

The founding members of the Atlanta Web3 Alliance are 404 DAO, Atlanta Blockchain Center, Jonathan King (Investor at Coinbase Ventures), Gigantik, Kitt Labs, and W3 Studio. These members are investors, incubators, support organizations, and scaling startups operating in the sector. The Atlanta Web3 Alliance is also open to corporations, universities, government entities, and others who align with our mission.
